Rocester Barn

Rocester Barn in Waterfall is an 18th Century field barn with planning approval for holiday use.

The original queen post trusses were rotten and lateral thrusts had destablised the front wall of the building.

The front wall was rebuilt with insulated cavity and stone facing. The replacement roof structure uses steel A frames and purlins to maximise the useable roof space without imposing lateral thrusts on the supporting walls.
