Project Details

The site is a knackery. Although much of the trade is commercial, an increasing part of the business was from the public - from the owners of cats, dogs and horses etc.

The new office and reception building provides a more suitable environment for conducting business with members of the public.

The building houses an office and reception area, a disabled w/c and a small kitchenette for office staff. The wide mullioned window in the south west gable allows staff to simultaneously monitor the access and the weighbridge.

The project involved the submission of a planning application to the Peak District National Park Authority.
