Project Details

The dwelling is part of a small estate in Waterhouses in the south west corner of the Peak District National Park. The houses vary in design; this example has a limestone front and rear with grit dashed gables.

The extension is a conventional gable wing design built with matching materials.

The design provides an enlarged kitchen and living room at ground floor level with an enlarged bathroom, separate w/c and enlarged bedroom above.

The project involved the submission of a planning application to the Peak District National Park Authority, followed by submission of detailed plans to Staffordshire Moorlands Building Control Department.
