Fairview

Fairview overlooks the Churnet Valley in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The project involved the construction of a new brick and tile double garage to replace the original sectional concrete building. The development benefitted from Class E permitted development rights and although planning permission was not required, detailed plans were prepared for tender and building control.

The garage is built using brick and block with an insulated cavity. The roof uses prefabricated trusses and is clad in blue clay tiles. The pitch is fairly shallow to keep the ridge height below the 4 metre limit for permitted development. The project was undertaken by P Ferns Building Contractors and should be completed shortly.
