Anroach

Anroach Farm is an 18th Century farm house nestling below the broken escarpment of Anroach in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The project involved the demolishion and replacement of a stock barn.

The replacement building is a portal frame construction with three 4.6m wide bays spanning approximately 12.2 metres. It is faced to approximately 1/3rd eaves height in reclaimed local gritstone with tanalised yorkshire boarding above. The roof is clad with blue-grey profile 6 fibre-cement sheeting.
